My grant was for a document camera. The document camera can enhance students learning in all content areas by displaying several resources through the classroom projector onto a large screen. These resources can be colorful photographs, charts, review worksheets and primary documents for class discussions and reference. The documents can be enlarges to view specific parts and can be placed next to a second document for comparing. The teacher can also model specific lessons for the students and students can demonstrate how to use manipulatives when applying strategies to math problem solving tasks.
